    Charlotte Gilmartin crashes out!

Oh! Gilmartin was just getting a little behind the pace and the fall came out of nowhere. She's back on her feet but she's a lap behind the rest of her competitors.

Well the angles that the referee looks at are completely different to us. It always makes it more difficult.

Overtaking is allowed in short track speed skating - but a skater must not obstruct or impede their competitors.

    The referees are still conferring...

    Skeleton: Women's final runs

    Amy Williams
Olympic gold medallist skeleton racer on BBC TV

It's a track which is so unforgiving. Anything can happen and we just need the two girls to be cool and calm and put down those fast runs we know they can do.

Laura Deas needs to nail corner nine. Lizzy Yarnold needs to hold it together but we know she loves and thrives on that pressure.

Once you're on that starting line it's each for their own. It's you, your sled and that race track.

It will help that Lizzy has been in this situation before. But you still have to be able to hold it together and not burn nervous energy. They will probably need a few cups of tea!

I'm sandwiched between Canadians and South Koreans and my row of seats just rumbled after that women's semi-final.

Will there be a penalty for Kim Alang after that collision?

Marianen St Gelais was making a move up the inside of the track when the two collided. The Canadian nearly knocked over one of the officials as she went crashing out.

  11. Wallace makes Olympics after horror crashpublished at 11:18 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2018

    Men's aerials qualification

    Anna Thompson
    BBC Sport in Pyeongchang

Britain's Lloyd Wallace is in men's aerials qualification which is under way and just being here is an achievement, considering he was in a coma in August after a freak training accident.

Remarkably he wasn't seriously injured and was able to return to the snow in the autumn.

His family certainly have Olympic pedigree with his mum - formerly Jilly Curry, finishing fourth in aerials in 1992 when it was a demonstration sport in Albertville.

His dad Robin competed in Calgary 1988 and had top 20 results in World Cup, including ski ballet - which is a sight to behold if you search for footage on a well know search engine!

In 2018, Wallace will be aiming to qualify for the final but it is a tough ask with just 12 making it from the 25 starters.

    Skeleton: Women's final runs

    Amy Williams
Olympic gold medallist skeleton racer on BBC TV

Lizzy Yarnold wants another gold medal. Laura Deas hasn't yet got a medal and is so close to it. She knows if she gets clean runs there's no reason why she can't also get a gold, silver or bronze.

I saw [Dom Parson's bronze] medal last night and got so excited. I saw him today too. Every medal is magic. It brings magic to the team.

Skeleton is in such a good place right now and to have one of the guys get that medal is a massive pat on the back for the hard work of the team.

We have just had a medal in the ski slopestyle and we hope Elise Christie can do well too. But for Laura and Lizzy, it will just give them a boost.

Clearly bringing one medal home is do-able but I think we could get two. There's no reason why both can't be standing on that podium. They are in the form of their lives.

No nonsense from Eve Muirhead, who tells Anna Sloan she wants that South Korea centre guard out of the way. Sloan nails it as well, knocking the center guard out of the way.

    Great Britain 0-0 South Korea

Eve Muirhead gets hold of the brush and tells Vicki Adams exactly where she wants that stone - clattering into South Korea's guard.

And what a shot it is! Adams hits it on the nose and sends two stones flying, opening up the centre. GB also have the hammer in this first end.
