  1. 'I am here for Christie'published at 08:24 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2018

More from Katherine Grainger on how she can support British speed skater Elise Christie: "I have offered to have a conversation with Elise Christie if it is important for her to do that.

"I am here, I am available if it is wanted or needed but I wouldn't impose myself. They are top level athletes so they know what needs to be done.

"She has a great team around her."

On Russian doping: "It's hugely frustrating. It dominated the build-up to the Olympics and you want it to be about the sport and the athletes.

"We're now back discussing it again. It's frustrating and hugely disappointing."

  8. 'It's been incredible'published at 08:13 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2018

Great Britain's most decorated female Olympian, Katherine Grainger, speaking to BBC Two: "It's been phenomenal. Great Britain have been performing brilliantly. It's just been incredible to watch.

"I know what that pressure feels like. It's a privilege to see these athletes doing it."

On her role as the chair of UK Sport: "UK Sport's remit is about supporting inspirational stories on podium level. That's where the focus has to be.

"What has been incredible is the amount of interest from people back home. Those really high-level, inspiring medal performances really do get people involved.

"You can't make emotional decisions. It's a huge amount of money and it has to be an investment. You have to be aware of the decision - however positive or negative they can be."

If you're just getting up and tuning in, here's what you've missed:

Great Britain's Penny Coomes and Nick Buckland safely progressed to the final day of the ice dance competition at the Winter Olympics.

The pair scored 68.36 in the short dance and finished 10th with the top 20 competing in Tuesday's free dance.

GB's Rowan Cheshire, 22, also qualified for the ski halfpipe final but Molly Summerhayes, 20, missed out.

Briton Aimee Fuller, 26, fell on both runs in the snowboard big air and failed to make the final. It was painful too...

Huge noise around the curling arena as South Korea play a superb final shot to beat Italy 8-6.

That’s only their second win from seven matches. They stay bottom of the standings.

All of a sudden there’s more teenage girls screaming because one of the players waved to them. Curling madness!
