    Curling: Men's final

    Jackie Lockhart
Four-time Olympic curler on BBC TV

My moment of the Games was watching the USA men winning the gold medal in the curling. These guys went from zero to hero. It was really inspiring.

Time for some more Korean music. As some boy band shows us their moves.

They have white suit jackets on, but, perhaps wisely, have opted against the all-white suit look modelled so hilariously by the Liverpool team before the 1996 FA Cup final against Manchester United.

  4. North Korea 'willing to hold US talks'published at 12:46 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

And a bit more on that from our colleagues in news...

North Korea is willing to hold talks with the US, South Korea says.

The announcement came after Gen Kim Yong-chol met South Korean President Moon Jae-in ahead of the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympics.

US President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka is also attending the ceremony, but US officials have ruled out meeting the North Korean delegation.

The US says North Koreans pulled out of a meeting with Vice-President Mike Pence during the opening ceremony.

The Korean rapprochement has been seen as a move by the North to drive a wedge between the South and the US.

We are hearing there has been talks (between South Korea and North Korea). If the Olympic truce has worked here then that surely will be a lasting legacy from Pyeongchang 2018.

We now have a host of athletes from around the world coming together on the stage.

    They are...

    • Yun Sungbin (gold medallist, skeleton - South Korea)
    • Ryom Tae-ok (Olympian, figure skating - North Korea)
    • Nao Kodaira (gold medallist, speed skating - Japan)
    • Liu Jiayu (medallist in snowboard - China)
    • Martin Fourcade (three-time medallist in biathlon - France)
    • Lindsey Vonn (medallist in alpine skiing - United States)
    • Seun Adigun (Olympian in bobsleigh - Nigeria)
    • Pita Taufatofua (Olympian in cross-country skiing - Tonga)

And no, Taufatofua does not have a top on, yet again, just like at the opening Ceremony and the Opening Ceremony at the Summer Games in Rio. Does he even have any tops?

  8. 'To the people of Korea, I say 'thank you'published at 12:39 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2018

More from Thomas Bach. He says: "These Olympic Winter Games have introduced new events that appeal to new generations. Digital technology has enabled more people in more countries to see winter sports in more ways.

"We have brought together a record number of National Olympic Committees to participate in Olympic Winter Games.

"Therefore I can truly say: the Olympic Winter Games Pyeongchang 2018 are the Games of New Horizons.

Time for Thomas Bach, president of the International Olympic Committee. He says: "Over the past 17 days, we have experienced Olympic Games rooted in tradition and showing the way to the future.

"Dear athletes from the NOCs of the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, with your joint march, you have shared your faith in a peaceful future with all of us.

"You have shown how sport brings people together in our fragile world; you have shown how sport builds bridges. The IOC will continue this Olympic dialogue, even after we extinguish the Olympic flame.

    Short-track speed skating: Men's 5,000m relay

    Simon Brotherton
    Commentator on BBC TV

My moment of the Games was when Hungary won the men’s 5,000m relay gold at the short track speed skating because it was the first time Hungary had ever won a gold medal at the Winter Olympics. And the other reason is because Elise Christie was able to leave the Olympics with a smile on her face after all.

Her boyfriend Shaolin Sandor Liu was in the Hungarian team and she was there on her crutches at the side of the rink to cheer him on. It was a nice moment.

    John Hunt
    BBC TV commentator in Pyeongchang

The countdown begins in earnest now for Beijing 2022. The third city that will host both the summer and the winter Games.

If you remember the 2008 Games, the Bird's Nest stadium will be used we're being told and the Water Cube - used for swimming events in the summer Olympics - will be used for the curling.
