"As long as you change the shot and make it, you're alright!" is Adams' response as Sloan comes over to congratulate her.

  2. Double gold for Nuispublished at 11:36 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2018

Kjeld Nuis, who has just won gold in the men's 1,000m also edged out fellow Dutchman Patrick Roest by 0.85 seconds to win the 1500m gold earlier this week.

    Oops!

That's an miss from Lauren Gray - she goes after the Swedish stone that's in the house, but she can only brush the red, rather than taking it out.

Sweden promptly knock the British guard out of the way.

    Ollie Williams
    Commentator on BBC TV

The Olympic ice hockey semi-final - Canada v Germany - starts at 12:10 GMT.

The hockey has been carefully timed to start at the exact moment the curling gets too much to bear (for Brits - appreciating that ship has well and truly sailed for Canadians).

We are an hour away from the start and there are seven spectators in the arena.

It's about 75% full in the curling arena tonight but about 120% full in the media section.

All the seats are taken so people are having to settle for a seat on the concrete steps and staircases.

  9. Sweden take lead after second endpublished at 11:32 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2018

    Curling women's semi-final: Great Britain 0-2 Sweden

    That's lucky!

Down the middle go Sweden, clearing a GB stone, and the stone just about avoids sliding out of the house.

Two for Sweden to get them off the mark.

"You can get it, Eve," says Anna Sloan as she angles up the two red Swedish stones.

Muirhead whacks it straight out of the way - but she can't get near to the second. Should be a fairly straightforward two for the Swedes.

    Ooft!

Eve Muirhead goes for a double take out - one Swedish red stone is dispatched, but the stone just spins past the second! Muirhead looks up to the ceiling in annoyance.

Swedish skip Anna Hasselborg plonks her stone pretty much where Muirhead had just hit last time. "Ugh."

Eve Muirhead, brush shoved under her arm, looks at the all the angles, head cocked to one side.

Anna Sloan slides in with her second stone, and clonks two Swedish reds out of the way! She's close to taking a third out, too, but it just lingers on the edge of the house.

It's a very lopsided looking house at the minute.

There's three GB stones clustered together on one side, but there's a Swedish red that's nearer to the button.

The Swedish skip is within her rights to do it. But fair play to Anna [Sloan], she was honest and admitted it had touched her foot.

    Curling women's semi-final: Great Britain 0-0 Sweden

    Now then.

Anna Sloan, sweeping furiously, accidentally taps her foot into the stone as she slides into the house. She tells the Swedish skip, who essentially can decide what to do with it.

The opposing skip isn't too bothered, and moves it by a centimetre - the theory being that Sloan's touch of the stone would have slowed it down.

"I think I moved it further than that," Sloan says. Very honest of her.

Great Britain want to protect that yellow stone that's in the house, so Lauren Gray sticks a guard up with her second stone.
