    Curling women's semi-final: Korea 7-6 Japan

Korea have the hammer, so this is Japan's final shot.

It comes curling in, furious sweeping helping it move in, and they put up a guard right in line with the Japanese stone that's in the house.

    It is passable, though...

    Ice hockey men's semi-final: Canada 1-4 Germany

A real upset is happening in the ice hockey, with big favourites Canada trailing Germany 4-1 in the men's semi-final.

It is Canada's national sport and anything other than a gold medal will be hugely disappointing. They have one more period to mount a comeback and secure their place in the final.

    Curling women's semi-final: Great Britain 5-10 Sweden

British skip Eve Muirhead speaking to BBC Two: "We gave it our all. The Swedish girls were on fire. I missed a couple of key shots out there and you can't afford to do that.

"Unfortunately today we were just outplayed but we still have a medal to play for so we will be giving it our all.

"I think as a team we are a very strong unit. If we can go out there and play the way we know we can play - but I know it will take time to get over that loss. We will support each other as much as we can.

"Any semi-final you lose is very, very hard. I thought we had a good opportunity tonight but we were on the back foot from the start and it was hard to grind it back."

    Anna Thompson
    BBC Sport in Pyeongchang

Most of the Korean fans in the curling centre didn’t realise Sweden had beaten Great Britain with an end to spare as they are transfixed on their own match.

But once they saw the Swedes celebrating and GB walking off there was a polite smattering of applause.

The wait for Team GB’s fifth medal of the Games goes on.

Jake Hardiman: This curling addiction that seems to take hold of me every 4 years has become quite the emotional roller coaster! Very unfortunate defeat for the girls but I'm sure they'll bring the bronze home

David Pierrie: Luck was out in the #curling but well played Sweden - deserved the win, and what I thought was classy at the end - they shook hands first, then celebrated - proper winners!

The British girls look, well. They look gutted, frankly.

They've still got a chance of a medal - they'll go on to play in the bronze medal match tomorrow.

By the looks of things, it'll be Japan they'll face, with Korea dominating that second semi-final.
