Men's 1500m
Farrell Treacy will be in the Olympic 1500m final.
He came fifth in his semi-final but two penalties handed out to athletes means he is bumped up to third.
Put on your skates, throw on a helmet people. It's on...

The VAR as influential in speedskating as it is in football...Another review lengthy review there. Farrell Treacy crossed the line in fifth place, but he's been put into the final after penalties given to Charles Hamelin and Ren Ziwei!
There's a long wait for the official result of that semi-final. Maybe Farrell Treacy will get a help from officials here and get bumped up the rankings...

Farrell Treacy was in that race, in the mix right until the closing stages but that final surge of pace he couldn't quite stay with it.

The 26-year-old is fourth in the penultimate lap, to the bell, he's having to work very, very hard, it's slipping away. The burst of pace takes four athletes away from him and he ends fifth.
Shaoang Liu wins it for Hungary. Treacy's only hope is if judges feel there were too many shenanigans in running.
Men's 1500m
Farrell Treacy is underway in the third and final semi-final. He's Great Britain's only hope and he moves into the lead with 11 laps to go.
The Solihull-born skater is making his second appearance.

Daeheon Hwan of South Korea grabs the lead in semi-final two and he skates powerfully to get the job done. He is through with Semen Elistratov of the Russian Olympic Committee.
Next up, Great Britain's Farrell Treacy.

A few moments ago we explained how Canada's Kim Boutin was leading her 1000m heat at the final bend. And then this happened...

A couple of women have been filmed on the big screen pulling some dance moves to the tannoy music.
Lots of arm wriggling and shimmying going on. Back to the action soon, thankfully...

Shaolin Sándor Liu of Hungary impressed in the quarter-finals, as did Pascal Dion of Canada. The opening semi-final is loaded and with six laps to go it's wide open. A few nudges in the field, a chess match playing out, three laps left, four years of work in the locker... Lee June-seo of South Korea takes it, Sandor Liu in second. The two of them grabbed their position and held on expertly there.

It's men's semi-final time in the 1500m. GB's Farrell Treacy goes in the last of the three.
Top two from each qualify, plus three fastest losers.
Drama in store for sure.

The skeleton sliders have had six official training runs on the 1,975ft long track in Yanqing - which is known as the snow dragon with 16 curves, including a 360 degree turn.
The British athletes have been progressing steadily in the training runs, improving each time.
Marcus Whyatt, who won a silver medal at the test event, was sixth in his final training run, with Matt Weston in eighth.
In the women's, 2018 bronze medallist Laura Deas was 11th and Brogan Crowley 10th.
It is always hard to work out anything from training runs as there is a lot of smoke and mirrors between the teams with some athletes electing not to race each run.
Great Britain have won a medal every time skeleton has been part of the Winter Olympic programme - including golds in the last three Games.
There are four runs with the men's first two runs on Thursday, second two runs on Friday. The women race on Friday and Saturday.

Nordic combined individual
This picture of two-time Olympic gold medallist Johannes Rydzek says it all.
A lung-busting, muscle-burning, vision-blurring effort to lead the Olympic race until the final moments.
Tough to take. He came fifth.

Maybe a slight loss of concertation from Kim Boutin.
She knew she was in front, couple of metres ahead of the others fairly comfortably.
