  1. Great Britain suffer second round-robin losspublished at 08:51 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2022

Round-robin: South Korea 9-7 Great Britain

It is an easy take-out for the South Korea skip. She lets go of the stone well before the hog line and catches the British stone flush on the nose.

It skids out of contention. And Britain are left nursing the wounds.

They have lost two of their first three matches in this round-robin stage. Their progress to the knock-out stages is looking a little dicey.

  2. Great Britain on the brink of defeatpublished at 08:48 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2022

Round-robin: South Korea 9-6 Great Britain (after nine ends)

There are two South Korean stones in the house and only one left in Eve Muirhead's hand.

    This game is surely done...

Round-robin: South Korea 9-6 Great Britain (after nine ends)

Vicky Wright, with some help for Jen Dodds on the mop, tucks a nice stone around under the cover of her previous attempts.

Three stones each remaining. Great Britain could really use another South Korean mistake.

The Korean team haven’t seen too much of the international stage after the last Olympic Games

They called a surprise press conference and reported concerns about how they were being treated as athletes and how they were being verbally abused by coaches and having funding withheld from their association. They were banned from interacting with other athletes.

That led to an outpouring of other Korean athletes who came forward and spoke out about the way they were being treated.

They are more than just curlers, they really have been leading the way in Korean sport and trying to change the culture for Korean athletes.

Graeme Fish's opening time lasted one pairing. Patrick Roest, who took the silver medal in the 5,000m for the Netherlands, sees to that by shaving over 14 seconds off.

Japan's Ryosuke Tsuchiya and Germany's Patrick Beckert, who once missed a race because his mobile phone was switched off, are up next.

    Looks pretty tiring this.

A costly mistake from Eve Muirhead. She left her stone there like a sitting duck, and Kim EunJung takes it out to leave FOUR reds in the house. It was a really tough as of the GB skip.

    They need a miracle now.

It's a score of four and Team GB have just been out of sorts this morning.

It's not over and as much as we would like GB to win this game, you can't really argue that Korea have had the opportunities for multiple points.

No mistake this time from the South Korean skip.

She ejects Great Britain's sole stone in the circle and leaves behind four red residents.

A massive four-shot score to take a stranglehold on this match.

One end left and Great Britain hoping for a bit of a miracle.

This is tighter than piano wire.

One stone left for each team. South Korean stones dominating the house and with a tricky guard for Eve Muirhead to get around.

The men's blue-riband event of the speed skating programme, the 10,000 metres, is under way.

This could be an intriguing final and former world record holder, Canada's Graeme Fish, has posted an early mark of 12:58.80.

Will that be enough to get near the medals? We shall see.

Sweden's Nils van der Poel, who won in the 5,000m and is the current world champion and world record holder is the strong favourite. The 25-year-old, who has been placed in 70% of all Fanzone teams today, gets going in the fifth pairing with Italy's Davide Ghiotto.

What a let-off there. you need to release the stone before the hog-line.

Kim EunJung held on to it for a little long and... what a time to make a mistake like that.

Steal of two for GB. Massive.

Dearie me, South Korea just 'hogged' that stone. So, skip Kim EunJung failed to release it before the red line. Aka the hog line.

Like a foul throw in football. Though that doesn't usually cost you as dearly...

  15. Massive mistake gifts GB leadpublished at 08:21 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2022

Round-robin: South Korea 5-6 Great Britain (after eight ends)

    Drama!

South Korea's skip EunJung Kim has a clear shot to score with the final stone of the eighth end, but she gets a little yippy, holds onto the stone a little too long and sets off the sensor across the hog line.

It has to be out of your hand by the time it crosses the line. It wasn't. So the stone is swept off the ice and Great Britain score two.

That could be huge. Two ends to go...

A much better draw in from Eve Muirhead to deny the South Koreans two. Could that be a turning point?

GB will have to stifle them in this end and try to pinch the hammer.
