Women's ski cross final
Sandra Naeslund of Sweden won the World Championship last year and now has an Olympic gold medal too.
Just as she had done in both the quarter-finals and semi-finals, she hit the front early on and held off the challenge of the others.
Naeslund came fifth in 2014, fourth in 2018...and first in 2022.

Next up is the women's ski cross final. World champion Sandra Naeslund has stormed through the last two rounds, Marielle Thompson won this eight years ago, Fanny Smith picked up a bronze in 2018 with Daniela Maier trying to pick up her first Olympic medal.

Great Britain are lying two and are poised to steal. Kovaleva needs something to change the picture.
She takes an unlikely route, swinging down the left edge of the sheet and get a nudge on a couple of stones in a complicated plant. The end result is ROC taking one from the end.
Was it deliberate? A happy slice of luck?
Either way, a chance for a steal slides by for GB.

A three-way photo finish in the second semi-final. Brilliant racing, right to the line. Germany's Daniela Maier sneaks it, then comes Switzerland's Fanny Smith.

There were three Canadians in the first semi-final, but none of them can win it as Sweden's world champion Sandra Naeslund wins it comfortably, leading from start to finish.
Marielle Thompson joins her in the final, as the Canadian aims to win this event for a second time after success eight years ago.
Men's freeski halfpipe qualifying
Speaking to BBC Sport after scraping through to the halfpipe final in 12th spot, Gus Kenworthy said: "I don't think I've ever been more stressed out.
"I could have done so much more. My first run I had a fall and then really didn't want to fall again, and so I decided to be a little bit more conservative with my [second] run.
"Unfortunately I didn't put it down quite as clean as I could have and the judges were pretty harsh on me for it, rightfully so, but it was not the position I wanted to be in.
"I feel very grateful that I am through to the final, and the final is a new day."

We're down to eight in the women's ski cross and these are those eight...
Semi-final 1: Sandra Naeslund (Sweden), Courtney Hoffos (Canada), Marielle Thompson (Canada), Hannah Schmidt (Canada).
Semi-final 2: Sami Kennedy-Sim (Australia), Daniela Maier (Germany), Fanny Smith (Switzerland), Brittany Phelan (Canada)
Naeslund won the world championship in 2021 but has yet to pick up an Olympic medal after coming fifth in 2014 and fourth in 2018.
She races against 2014 Olympic gold medallist Thompson in the first of the two semi-finals. Smith grabbed a bronze in Pyeongchang four years ago, with Phelan the silver medallist in South Korea.

Image source, Getty ImagesThat was gutsy. A high-risk shot for GB skip Eve Muirhead to try and take a point out of an end where her team had last-stone advantage.
She could easily have nudged Russia into the lead there. Instead she biffs out their best-placed stone to score one.
Great Britain would have wanted more at the start of the end. But they will take that in a shot given how the ice looked before that final shot.
Women's alpine combined
Image source, Getty ImagesIt's a one two finish for the Swiss duo in the women's alpine combined event - Michelle Gisin reclaims the gold she won in Pyeongchang four years ago.
She finished 12th in the downhill, but a speedy slalom saw her post a total time of 2.25.67, while Wendy Holdener was a whole 1.05 seconds behind her to take silver and Italy's Federica Brignone took the bronze.
The USA's Mikaela Shiffrin crashed out of the slalom and the Czech Republic's snowboarding gold medallist Ester Ledecka finished just outside the medal places in fourth.
It's been a difficult Games for American superstar Mikaela Shiffrin.
But she has not been short of supportive self-help memes on social media.

A classic curling case of converting for two when you have hammer and then forcing just one on your opponents in the next. Textbook, I'm told.
Keep that up and GB will win this match.

Her penultimate stone could not have been better placed if she had lugged the granite down the ice and dropped it in the small pocket of space left on the bullseye.
