My word. It's going to come down to the final stone.

Mouat removes one American red but his one yellow spins out too.

John Shuster still has a incredibly difficult shot at forcing the extra end.

The Americans have called a time-out. What can John Shuster magic up?

They need to come out of this situation, with two stones left to GB's one, with two reds closest to the middle to force an extra end.

They're doing OK so far, Emma.

The chatter is constant from the Americans. Bruce Mouat stands, silently assessing the situation.

Yes, Thomas. Yes, I am nervous.

Down comes another red American stone. The sweepers sweep furiously...

The result is Great Britain still lie two. They can afford to lose this end by one, remember.

That is a pretty much wasted stone for the US (from Matt Hamilton), when they do not have stones to waste.

There are more loud, passionate chats between the USA team. There is no doubt John Shuster is calling the shots in the broadest American accent.

The US' Matt Hamilton, hair flowing beyond his shoulders, has slipped up.

So it all comes down to this final end... unless we end up with an extra one!

USA need two here to force an extra end. Great Britain will just defend.

That was a HUGE shot from Bruce Mouat.

John Shuster was content to give up one and back himself to get two or more with the hammer in the last.

It's going to the wire. GB are so difficult to peg back, but Shuster won't be giving in.

Great Britain pick up a point to head into the final end with a lead of two.

The United States have the hammer, but they have it all to do, even to take this to an extra end.

American skip John Shuster is shooting daggers to the stands.
