Edwards v Muhammad
Birmingham's Leon Edwards has looked calm and collected through most of fight week but he was fired up when he came face-to-face with Belal Muhammad after Friday's ceremonial weigh-in.
Edwards, 32, who is making the third defence of his welterweight title, weighed 170lb - one pound heavier than his 36-year-old opponent.
Edwards grabbed the microphone in both hands before addressing the passionate crowd.
"Manchester! Forget what he says. He's too small, too slow, I'm knocking him out," said Edwards.
The fight at the Co-op Live is a rematch of their 2021 bout, which was deemed a no-contest following an accidental eye poke from Edwards which left Muhammad unable to continue.
That bout has led to hostility between the pair, with Muhammad, who has played the villain role during fight week, embracing heavy boos from the audience.
"The rest of you guys tomorrow night, cry about it. It's over for you guys. England is going to lose again," said Muhammad.

Edwards v Muhammad
We've still got a vote running on our mixed martial arts page if you want to have your say on the outcome of this morning's main event between welterweight champion Leon Edwards and challenger Belal Muhammad.
As you can see, Edwards is getting a lot of support. It's going to take a wealth of last minute votes to swing this one.
The last time they met in ended as a no-contest after an eye poke in round two.
Can Edwards get the win this time?
Edwards v Muhammad
British lightweight Paddy Pimblett: "Obviously I'm backing the fellow Englishmen, it goes without saying. I think Belal has got so much better since the first fight, but Leon was on his way to finishing him in that fight and I think he gets a finish."
British featherweight Arnold Allen: "Leon's the man, he's grown so much as a champion, he's got better and better. I think you're going to see him be a dominant champion for a while."
Paul Battison
BBC Sport at the Co-op Live, Manchester
The thing which has struck me the most about Leon Edwards this week is his methodical preparation and professionalism.
He's the fighter who took the most steps in adjusting to the early morning fights by consulting a sleep and performance specialist, and then weighed in first on Friday, setting the example for everyone else.
Belal Muhammad has played the villain role this week, trying to get under Edwards' skin, but the Birmingham fighter has heard it all before and laughed most of it off.
It's easy to see why Edwards is currently the longest reigning champion in the UFC
The champ runs rule over his division. Do you agree with his picks?

Aspinall wins by stoppage
Who is left for Tom Aspinall in this heavyweight division?
He has taken out all those with potential credentials and is just waiting for his shot.
He leaves the octagon with the interim heavyweight title held above his head and it will feel sweet that he has corrected the loss he suffered against Curtis Blaydes, which came about due to a freak knee injury.
Anyway... ready for another title fight?
Leon Edwards is up next to defend his welterweight title against Belal Muhammad.
Aspinall wins by stoppage
UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall on TNT Sports: "First of all, I just want to say massive congratulations to Curtis, what a human being he is. I needed to put that one to bed, before was a freak accident, I've put that to rest.
"I'm the best finisher in the UFC. If I smell blood, that's it, you're done. I've just spoken to the boss man, who wants to see Jon Jones v Tom Aspinall?"
Message to Jon Jones?: "Hello Jon, I have nothing against you, but I just think I'm better than you and I can beat you in a fight. I'm coming for you.
"To everyone in the nosebleeds and watching on the TV, I'm a normal guy, from a normal family from a normal area. Sometimes, normal people can do extraordinary things. No holding back, just go for it."
Aspinall wins by stoppage
Tom Aspinall shows he can deliver just as well by making the call out we all want to see... heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
Jones is due to face Stipe Miocic when he recovers from elbow surgery and a pectoral injury.
How long does Aspinall have to wait for his chance? How many times should he have to defend an interim title?
Does Aspinall beat Jones?
Thumbs up for yes or thumbs down for no.
Gareth Bailey
BBC Sport at the Co-op Live, Manchester
Curtis Blaydes has his head in his hands, he can't believe that's been stopped but Tom Aspinall was on him like an assassin.
Blaydes falls to one knee absolutely crestfallen.
Aspinall gets this done and dusted in quick fashion.
Michael Bisping
Former UFC middleweight champion on TNT Sport
Aspinall is a problem for any man on planet earth. Tom just swarmed him, that jab just dropped him. His finishing instincts and speed to power on his prey. Curtis is protesting though.
Aspinall wins by stoppage
Marc Goddard brought an end to that before Aspinall could do serious damage.
The right call from the English referee with Blaydes face down and just covering up to protect himself from a barrage of punches.
It lasted just one minute.
Aspinall remains the UFC interim heavyweight champion.
Jon Jones? Yes, please!
Aspinall wins by stoppage
What a guy.
Tom Aspinall is a different beast.
It's a shame he's so good because we only get to see him for about 30 seconds - at best - every five or six months.
Michael Bisping
Former UFC middleweight champion on TNT Sport
Unbelievable, the power is just different. The finishing instincts is just different.
Aspinall v Blaydes
Gold gloves for both fighters?
Not sure I agree with that!
Early exchange sees both land and then Aspinall eats a one-two.
But Aspinall comes back and it's over!!!!!!
Michael Bisping
Former UFC middleweight champion on TNT Sport
Aspinall is without question, in the best shape of his life.
Aspinall v Blaydes
Tom Aspinall hasn't had far to travel for this fight. Around 20 miles from Atherton.
He was watching on at Manchester Arena when Michael Bisping defended his middleweight title 2016.
This is a special moment for the interim heavyweight champion.
Off we go...

Not a household name, Rob?
My dad spoke to me about mixed martial arts for the first time earlier today and mentioned Tom Aspinall.
I think he may have broken through!

Aspinall must be the most likeable athlete who isn't a household name.
