Andy Priaulx will race in the Daytona 24 hour race for the first time later this month.

The three-time World Touring Car champion will drive the American Turner Motorsport team's BMW M3 at the event from 25-26 January.

Priaulx has just completed his first season in the German DTM touring car series for the BMW team.

"I love 24 hour races, so to add the Daytona event to those I have competed in is very exciting," Priaulx said.

"It is a race I have always followed from afar and so to be able to drive there this year with Turner Motorsport is a fantastic opportunity.

"The icing on the cake is that it will be in a BMW and I want to thank BMW Motorsport for allowing me to accept this invitation," Priaulx added.
