    "We have actually changed the clutch, we found in the Superstock race that the clutch was struggling.

    "Everyone seems to be having issues with running on with the strong winds so we'll try keep everything clean, hit all our marks and hang in their until the end."

    Barry Furber, who finished third, on BBC iPlayer: "It took me by surprise. I saw the two lads down, but at that point I didn't know where I was. I kept riding until I got to the holding area and they were like 'aren't you third?!'. It was a big battle with AJ Venter, but I didn't know it was for a podium. It's been great fun.

    "We come here and try to do well but we never expected this. We'll take it however it comes."

    "In 2023, I thought that was going to be the end of it with the crash and then to come back and I never dreamed of standing here. This is something really special.

    "I have always dreamed of winning a podium at an international and today we have done it.

    "I'm just so happy, particularly with what happened a few years ago. To come back here and do it in the same class than what left me in a bad way.

    "This is a dream. I came around the last lap and it was like a national road race."
