Paul Jordan wins Supertwins race two

Paul Jordan, race winner, on BBC iPlayer: "We didn't have the best practice, we had issues with the bike and even in the race I was struggling. I was struggling to stay with them, but it's still a North West 200 win and I'll take that any day of the week. I hope the lads are okay, but I'm a North West 200 winner!

"A Northern Irishman winning - what more can you ask for? I can't thank everyone enough!"

The clouds have come over now, cooled us down and the track temperature is down to 33 degrees now.

That bodes really well for the Superbikes later on.

Micko Sweeney and Paul Jordan can't believe it. I don't think they expected this either.

Jordan has tears in his eyes and Sweeney doesn't know what to do!

I have a feeling these will be three very happy interviews.

To finish first, first you have to finish.

Paul Jordan is a winner at the North West 200!

Michael Sweeney is second and Barry Furber beats AJ Venter to the line!

I'm not a betting man but if I was, this would not have been the podium I would have predicted.

Paul Jordan leads with half a lap to go ahead of Michael Sweeney and AJ Venter.

Barry Furber was right on Venter over the line for the final podium place.

I said earlier it could be the loneliest race of Paul Jordan's life. It could also be the best.

He's a 9.6 second lead over Michael Sweeney.

That is such an unfortunate situation.

The front runners have both gone down at the chicane and that's a disaster, but both riders are on their feet.

  10. McLean and Cooper out!published at 16:33 British Summer Time 10 May

McLean and Cooper have come to blows on the exit of Juniper!

Paul Jordan leads with a lap to go!

Cooper is right there as they arrive in Portrush.

This is going down to the last lap yet again.

It was Cooper's race earlier, but is this McLean's time?

McLean got a great exit out of Ballysally and Cooper can't get close.

You can't help but feel that Cooper is a lion playing with his food a little bit as he seems to be able to pick and choose when he pushes.

Here comes Cooper in the slipstream and he is right on McLean.

He shapes for a move into University but McLean hangs on.

    Lap 3/4

This could be the loneliest race of Paul Jordan's life. He's three seconds off the lead but seven seconds ahead of Micko Sweeney.

He's still close enough to collect any scraps should the leading pair come to blows.

Adam McLean still leads, but Cooper has had a brilliant run over the coast road and is right there again.

That's a mega sector by Cooper, who is just 0.8 seconds back at the halfway point.

Adam McLean has done a good job here, but how much of it is because Richard Cooper is sitting back?

Cooper isn't out of this one, you can never count him out, but McLean is riding really well over the first half of the race.

This is great, smooth riding by McLean. He pulls clear of Cooper heading into Mather's, who in turn is dropping into the clutches of Jordan.

Paul Jordan is there or thereabouts, but just can't get dragged into the battle.
