    Mike Browne crosses the finish line to complete a double in the Supersport class for the BPE by Russell Racing Yamaha team!

    The Cork rider came home just half a second ahead of closest pursuer Paul Jordan after a thrilling race-long battle at the front.

    Jordan set the fastest lap of the race on lap six at 104.932mph.

    Skerries rider Michael Sweeney trailed Jordan by just 0.2 seconds in taking third position on his Yamaha, with Jamie Coward fourth, Conor Cummins fifth and Joe Yeardsley sixth.

    What a race!

    104.333 is the new benchmark for the race set by the Magherafelt rider on his Jackson Racing Honda.

    Mike Browne was the winner of Friday evening's Supersport race for the BPE by Russell Racing team, finishing 6.4 seconds ahead of runner-up Michael Sweeney, with Paul Jordan a similar margin adrift of the Republic of Ireland rider in taking third to complete the rostrum positions.

  10. Davidson wins Lightweight Supersport....published at 11:02 British Summer Time 26 July

    Barry Davidson takes victory in the Lightweight Supersport.

    Riding a 250cc machine, the 48-year-old finished 44 seconds ahead of Richard Ford, who was on a 400cc, with Ben Mullane completing the rostrum spots.

    Davidson is no stranger to the top step of the podium at Armoy as this is his 17th success over the county Antrim course. And it's 109 victories in total at Irish road races for the Ballymena man! Some going!

    Jeremy McWilliams was Davidson's main challenger in the early stages but early on lap two the former MotoGP rider slipped off unhurt at Robbo's Corner while vying for the lead.

    The next race on the schedule will be the Lightweight Supersports, including 250cc GP.

    All races today are over seven laps.

  15. Moto3/125cc/Supersport 300 resultpublished at 10:29 British Summer Time 26 July

    Chris Meyer crosses the line ahead of Nigel Moore and Gareth Arnold in the Moto3/125cc class.

    Meyer had only one second to spare over Moore at the chequered flag, with Arnold a further 30 seconds behind.

    In the concurrently run Supersport 300, Lee Osprey was the victor, from William Grant and Mark Johnston.

  18. Jordan seals Supertwin successpublished at 10:03 British Summer Time 26 July

    In Friday's opening Supertwins seven-lapper Paul Jordan overhauled early leader Michael Sweeney to take victory on his Aprilia from similarly mounted Michael Sweeney by 5.5 seconds, with the Republic of Ireland rider a further seven seconds ahead of third-place finisher Joe Yeardsley.

    Jordan set a new Supertwins lap record of 100.694mph on his final circuit.

    Lavery, a 29-year-old from Dungannon in Northern Ireland, was riding a Kawasaki.
