Team Jets coach Linda Andrews happy with season performance

Jersey's Team Jets netball team coach Linda Andrews says she is happy with her side's performance this season.

The island side are second in South West Regional League 1, a point behind leaders Saints Cornwall.

"It has been a great year for Team Jets and we hope to go further next season," said Andrews.

"We've had a lot of challenges this season with girls leaving, we line up this weekend with a completely changed team to that of our first game."

Team Jets were promoted last year after going the season unbeaten and have lost just two matches this term.

"We won our first game of the season under immense pressure, arriving with only a few minutes to spare, but won that and haven't looked back," she added.

"I'd like to thank the fans for their great support and hopefully we can finish well."
