Jersey Team Jets' 52-47 win over Premiership Three leaders Kent County has been described as their best ever win by head coach Linda Andrews.

The victory moves Jersey up to fourth place in their first season in national-level netball.

"It was the best performance I've ever seen them play," Andrews said.

"The game was so tight, we only had two more opportunities to shoot than they did, our shooters were outstanding," she told BBC Radio Jersey.

It was the first time this season that Jersey had won a game at their Les Ormes home court.

"Our game play was really good but, at the end of the day, it comes down to getting the goals and we proved better than they were.

"We believed in ourselves and pushed on, we didn't make the errors that we have been making lately," added Andrews.
