Sunflower Trophy: Bishopscourt meeting to run over Saturday and Sunday after Friday action abandoned

The Sunflower Trophy motorcycle short circuit meeting at Bishopscourt will now be staged over Saturday and Sunday.
Friday's action was abandoned because of adverse weather as strong winds and heavy rain buffeted the circuit.
Practice and qualifying will now take place on Saturday at the county Down track, followed by the first races on the programme.
The feature Sunflower Trophy race and the remaining races on the programme will follow on Sunday.
In a statement, the organising Hillsborough Club said they had "made the decision on safety grounds to postpone racing today [Friday] and have a full two day programme, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd, with weather changing to dry with sunshine on Sunday".
A quality line-up assembled for the event includes last year's Sunflower winner, Richard Kerr, plus regular British Superbike competitors Lee Jackson, Charlie Nesbitt and Danny Kent.
Other leading racers taking part include Richard Cooper, Dean Harrison, Tom Booth-Amos, Jason Lynn, Adam McLean, Cameron Dawson, Simon Reid, Scott Swann, Derek Sheils, newly crowned Ulster Superbike champion Jason Lynn, Sam Laffins, Owen Jenner and Eunan McGlinchey.
Qualifying will take place on Saturday from 09:15 BST followed by an eight-race programme, including the first Superbike Pro and both Supersport Pro races.
A 13-race programme is then scheduled for Sunday, including the 12-lap feature Sunflower event.
