One of the great things about this Olympic Games in Paris has been the pin badge swapsies going on between the different nations and athletes.

Andy Murray has managed to bag himself one, with a little help from British gymnast Becky Downie.

There's been a surge in searches for the pin badge since Biles claimed her second gold of the Games earlier.

'I'm in a lot of pain'published at 22:15 British Summer Time 1 August

Team GB racer Kye Whyte after qualifying for tomorrow's semi-finals: "Not the way I wanted it at all. For the past seven weeks I've really been struggling to train and ride my bike from back issues and the one day it decides to come back it's today.

"I'm in a lot of pain, I don't really have much strength to come out of the start with, it's my back, going down my legs. I'm trying my hardest, just trying to get into the top four to qualify for tomorrow. But for now it's back to the physio and see what we can do to make it better.

"The course is very tight and technical. We've raced in Paris several times and the old course was fast enough for the turns. And when they made this course they didn't change the turns, but they changed the course. The track's much faster than the old one, the corners are the same. It's difficult in the turns, got a lot of people diving in, hitting each other. My back's really messed up so I don't want to crash anyway, I'm just trying to stay safe and qualify."

'It's all a mental game from now on'published at 22:11 British Summer Time 1 August

GB BMX racer Bethany Shriever, who won all three of her quarter-final races: "It couldn't have gone any better, I'm just here to enjoy myself and embrace every second. So the fact it's going this well, it's a bonus. I'm loving every second, my friends and family are here, it's extremely special.

"The crowd was going crazy. But I expected it, the French love BMX, it's getting the recognition and the hype that it deserves. It's wicked.

"This course it suits all my strengths. Psychologically that's what I've been focusing on and honing in on, it seems to be working at the minute. I'll carry on and keep my cool, it's all a mental game from now on. So keep a cool head, put down some smooth laps and yeah, we'll see what happens."

Finally from Andy Murray, speaking to BBC Sport:

"I gave as much as I could to the sport and I love competing in the Olympic Games. These weeks are so special and I will definitely miss them – I have done everything I could to prepare for this event.

"It would have been a fairytale ending to win a medal, but it wasn’t to be.

"Proud to be a part of Team GB and I will miss it."

On his plans in retirement: "I have four children below the age of eight so lay-ins don’t happen.

"I don’t know what I will do tonight! I can do whatever I want now, but I want to go home and spend time with my children."

Team GB's Andy Murray speaking to BBC Sport after playing his final game of professional tennis: "I mean it was a great run and we lost to two top players today. They are both top tennis players, we would have had to play very well to win that match and we didn’t.

"We got into it at the end, but if we found that form earlier we could have caused them problems, but it wasn't to be.

"We did make the quarters, but if you get through that match you get an opportunity to win a medal."

On how it feels to finish his career: "I feel good. I have been ready for this moment for the last few months since I had the operation on my back - I knew it was the right time and I feel lucky to come and compete here.

"I am grateful to Dan Evans for putting in the effort he did to giving us a good chance to having a great run. I am looking forward to stopping now."
