Danny McGuire to replace injured Jonny Lomax

St Helens' Jonny Lomax has been ruled out of England's Four Nations squad with torn ankle ligaments.

The half-back picked up the injury as St Helens lost to Leeds in Saturday's Grand Final, external and will now be replaced by Rhinos stand-off Danny McGuire.

Lomax was one of four Saints players to be included in Monday's squad announcement, along with Jon Wilkin, James Roby and James Graham.

McGuire, meanwhile, becomes the eighth Leeds player to receive a call-up.

England's first match in the tournament is with Wales on Saturday, 29 October, though they play France in a warm-up next week.

The four-team competition also includes Australia and New Zealand with the final taking place in mid-November.
