St Helens to sign Hull KR prop Richard Beaumont

St Helens have agreed a deal to sign Hull KR prop Richard Beaumont.

The 25-year-old, who has made 11 league appearances this year, will join the Saints on a two-year deal when his contract with the Robins expires at the end of the season.

Saints head coach Nathan Brown told the club website: "Richard showed a lot of potential coming through the system at Hull KR and will be a real asset to us.

"He possesses a lot of size and will bring real go-forward to our pack."

St Helens will lose Samoan prop Tony Puletua at the end of the season, with Salford a rumoured destination.
