Castleford Tigers have signed Salford scrum-half Marc Sneyd on loan for the 2014 Super League season.
Sneyd, 22, made 30 appearances for the Red Devils this season, but first-team chances appeared limited for next year with 12 new signings arriving.
"He is a quality player with the added benefit of an outstanding left foot kicking game," said Castleford head coach Daryl Powell.
"He will add to the depth and quality within the squad next season."
The Oldham-born half-back is the latest new arrival at Castleford, following Scott Wheeldon,Brett Seymour and Luke Dorn.
"It's a big one for the club next year and I'm aiming to make a significant contribution to our goal of reaching the top eight and then hopefully have a good run in the play-offs," said Sneyd.
"Hopefully I can force my way into Daryl's plans during pre-season by working very hard and by showing him and my team-mates that I bring something extra to the squad."
