Rugby League World Cup 2013: Australia select uncapped trio

Australia have named three uncapped players in their squad for the Rugby League World Cup starting this month.

Sydney Roosters back-rower Boyd Cordner, Cronulla Sharks prop Andrew Fifita and Canberra Raiders back-rower Josh Papalii have been selected in the 24-man squad by the nine-time winners.

Justin Hodges, Kurt Gidley and Anthony Watmough all missed out through injury.

Coach Tim Sheens' team face England on 26 October, Fiji on 2 November and Ireland on 9 November in Group A.
