Josh Griffin has joined older brother Darrell at Salford, signing a contract until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old centre left Castleford in 2012 to join rugby union side Leeds Carnegie, playing 19 times for them during the 2013-14 campaign.

He has also been playing in the Championship for Batley this season.

Griffin, who has been training with Salford for the past four weeks, could make his debut against former club Castleford on Saturday.
