Relegated London Broncos have agreed a deal to sign Featherstone Rovers back Ben Hellewell on a two-year contract to start next season.

The 22-year-old Scotland international, who is on loan at Dewsbury Rams, has previously spent time with Bradford and Warrington.

"Ben is a utility back who can play centre and wing," Broncos head coach Joey Grima said.

"We watched him in the Championship and he was very impressive."

Hellewell has won six caps for Scotland, including four appearances at the Rugby League World Cup in 2013.

"The main reason I decided to sign for the club was the enthusiasm of Joey Grima to transform the club into a winning culture," he said.

"Switching to full-time training with the club will help my rugby career massively."
