Ryan Hinchcliffe: Huddersfield Giants sign Melbourne Storm man

Melbourne Storm forward Ryan Hinchcliffe captained the side in a win against Penrith earlier this season

Huddersfield Giants have signed forward Ryan Hinchcliffe from National Rugby League side Melbourne Storm on a three-year deal starting in 2016.

Hinchcliffe, 30, made over 150 appearances for Melbourne after signing from Canberra Raiders in 2009.

"Ryan has been our number one target for quite some time now," head coach Paul Anderson told the club's website.

"You simply don't get to lead the Melbourne Storm side out unless you have very special qualities."
