Huddersfield release Livett and Salabio

Harvey Livett, 27, has played Super League rugby for four different clubs

Huddersfield Giants have parted company with Harvey Livett and Hugo Salabio by mutual consent.

Second-row forward Livett and French prop Salabio were told that their first-team opportunities would be limited at John Smith's Stadium.

Livett, 27, played 26 Super League games in his two years with the Giants after moving from Salford Red Devils two years ago.

The 24-year-old Salabio made 14 appearances for Huddersfield in his sole season, having joined on a three-year deal from Wakefield Trinity.

Huddersfield are preparing for the 2025 season under new full-time head coach Luke Robinson after finishing ninth last term.
