Brad O’Neill is very lucky not to see red for that tackle. Shocking.

    Keith, Leeds

Clearest red card tackle I’ve ever seen.

The conversion is missed, but it's now a 10-point lead for the Robins.

    Hull KR 6-0 Wigan

Wigan have suddely lost their cool!

They remain composed enugh to deal with Hull KR after they recieved the kick-off, but when they get the ball back they seem to lose track of their tackles and are wrapped on the last.

The Robins have been handed the ball back inside Wigan's half.

That's a beauty from Mikey Lewis. He had his hands in the air, they give him the ball and he's outside of the shoulder of the third man. Bevan French palms him but he sets off towards the sticks.

It's been difficult, Rovers have put themselves under a lot pressure. A couple of penalties, three errors with the ball and offered opportunities up to Wigan but Hull KR get the points on the board in what has been a tough start for the Robins.

The ball is moved from right to left.

Mikey Lewis gets hit hands on it, then bambozzles Wigan's defence with a dummy pass as he punches through a hole to touch down! The conversion is landed and the Robins lead by six.

There's some sting in this Grand Final, isn't there?

If last year was an exhausting battle of two evenly matched teams, then 2025's final so far feels like more a war of attrition.

I had the feeling earlier when Jared Waerea-Hargreaves went in hard on Bevan French that this game boiling over might actually benefit Hull KR.

Now that Brad O'Neill's been sent to the bin, that might actually be the reality.

  10. SIN-BIN - Brad O'Neill (Wigan)published at 19 mins

Brad O'Neill is marked for 10 minutes in the sin-bin for a dangerous tackle.

It would not have been a surprise it that red card.

    Chris Hill
Former Warrington Wolves captain on BBC Radio Manchester

I think this is what Hull KR want. The longer it goes 0-0, the longer Hull KR will be happier and happier.

These breaks in play now are vital for Hull KR because they'll get that breath back.

Brad O'Neill tackles Tyrone MayImage source, PA Media

Wigan's Brad O'Neill makes a shocker of a tip tackle on Tyrone May.

It's dangerous and immidiately gets a rise out of the Robins.

Both sets of players clash, with jerseys being pulled and players being shoved about.

    Surely it's at least a sin-binning for O'Neill...

    Hull KR 0-0 Wigan

    Paul Rowley
Salford Red Devils head coach on BBC Radio 5 Live

Wigan have started this game brilliantly. I think their blueprint is fantastic, they've started with the composure and poise that we'd expect them to.

We've got to credit Wigan for their start.

  15. ouch!

    Hull KR 0-0 Wigan

Wigan's Abbas Miski is looking dazed.

He is clattered by Michael McIlorum in a tackle deep in Wigan's half.

The hit, however, is high and Wigan kick for metres to relieve what pressure Hull KR were trying to build.

  16. 'Well done to the referee'published at 18:21 BST

That's two stone cold opportunities that Wigan have had but well done to the referee there and that's why he's gone to the video ref and that's why he's got a yellow shirt on.

    I reckon that's a let off.

Hull KR have been targetting Bevan French right from minute one but he only needs one chance.

And if you look at the replay, French has a huge amount of time to effectively pick his moment.

This is utterly mad! Wigan Warriors have fumbled yet another tryscoring opportunity.

Beven French darted onto a superb kick from Liam Marshall, and the touchdown seemed simple from there.

Mikey Lewis, however, did enough with his tackle on the line for French to fumble as he tried to dot the ball down.
