    James Graham
Former England forward on BBC One

England forgot about Angus Crichton and then there was a scramble defence. Full-back, Jack Welsby wasn't sure where he was at. He should have gone towards Crichton.

Great composure from Cameron Munster. The tempo where he went into the line, steadies his feet and pulls England out of shape.

Munster trusts his back-rower on play five - brilliant stuff.

Australia clearly setting out on a mission to get this game done in the opening minutes of the second half. And England cannot resist them.

There will be question marks about full back Jack Welsby there, he sat too deep and allowed Angus Crichton past way too easily.

TRY - England 0-12 Australiapublished at 45 mins

    Angus Crichton

Like a hot knife through butter. Angus Crichton skips inside Alex Walmsley and it's game over.

Jack Welsby backs off and then unsurprisngly can't stop the Australia second row from piling over the line.

A lesson learned there. Reece Walsh was allowed to skip to the outside, but it was great desperation from the England lads.

Reece Walsh evades Mikey Lewis while still in third gear and skips away from a couple of other England players.

The Australia full-back carries the ball 60 yards or so and Herbie Farnworth comes to the rescue with an ankle tap on Josh Addo-Carr. Wow.

Former Australian captain Darren Lockyer, speaking to BBC One: "For me the Ashes is a special trophy and I was fortunate to captain and lift the trophy in 2003.

"It was a good half of football from both teams - England left a few tries out there. With the the Kangaroos, I feel if England are not careful they will break out."

Reece Walsh is wonderful to watch. He was great with the ball in hand, but he has saved Australia a couple of times too.

Slightly unchartered territory for England at present.

In their previous two series wins over Tonga and Samoa, the only match they were not ahead in at half-time was the first test against Tonga, which was 12-12.

The physicality was there and they competed with Australia in moments.

I thought Dom Young and Tom Johnstone have had amazing carries. The easiest thing is the patience on the end of it.

England are in the contest, but they need patience and belief to get to the end of their sets.

    England have been slightly off.

The exciting thing for England is they can create opportunities without building pressure, but they just need to execute them.
