What influence will Marc Sneyd with his kicking game have on this game?

That's a complete turnaround in momentum because of that kick.

But there is a touch of class for you.

Warrington's Marc Sneyd finds the touchline with the goal-line drop-out and the Wolves will take possession near halfway.

Great stuff from the ex-Salford man.

  3. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Warrington 0-0 Hull KR

There's a real confrontational edge to the game in these opening stages and it's making for an intoxicating watch.

Great kick-chase from Hull KR and Joe Burgess leads it as they pin back Matt Dufty behind the try-line.

  4. 'Anybody's to take'published at 15:14 British Summer Time 7 June

We talk about the pre-game predictions and who fancies what but the game's played on the pitch.

Based on the 10 minutes we've had, it's an even game and anybody's to take.

  5. 'Wise Wolves move'published at 15:14 British Summer Time 7 June

    Warrington 0-0 Hull KR

    Jay Freeman
    BBC Sport at Wembley Stadium

Whether or not that's a try, you have to give Warrington credit for taking the game to Hull KR early on here.

I think that's a wise move. If they lay an early marker down, I think they have the ability to preserve a lead today.

  6. NO TRYpublished at 10 mins

    Warrington 0-0 Hull KR

    The referee's call stands.

Papua New Guinea centre Rodrick Tai is guilty of ripping the ball out of Jack Broadbent's hands in the tackle and so Adam Holroyd diving on the loose ball counts for nothing.

Warrington and Adam Holroyd think they have the game's first try.

Referee Liam Moore says no try on-field, but we are going upstairs.

  8. 'It's nonsense'published at 15:10 British Summer Time 7 June

    Warrington 0-0 Hull KR

    Nick Pinkney
    BBC Radio Humberside Summariser

Nothing in it at all. That was a fair challenge for me.

I think Warrington have got a freebie there.

Two men in the area, coming together, what do you do? Not let him tackle him. You're always going to make contact with the head in that area. It's nonsense.

    Warrington 0-0 Hull KR

Referee Liam Moore takes his time and decides that it is a Warrington penalty and no further punishment for Joe Burgess.

    Warrington 0-0 Hull KR

There is so much muscle on show, especially in the Hull KR line-up.

These early minutes are all about setting a marker, but hey, that's a late one from Joe Burgess on opposite number Josh Thewlis as the Warrington wing fields a bomb from Mikey Lewis.

Is it a natural rugby collision or something more sinister?

  11. Deja vu, anyone?published at 15:07 British Summer Time 7 June

I'm going back 12 months ago.

I'm looking at a Warrington team that did similar things in the first 10 to 15 minutes last year and it didn't work out for them.

They've still got to respect the ball, you've still got to take a chance but you've got to look after the ball as well.

Warrington try to move it wide on the third tackle, but Josh Thewlis can't take Rodrick Tai's pass.

Mikey Lewis loved that as the ball goes into touch.

The Man of Steel looks pumped for the big occasion.

  13. Postpublished at 4 mins

Is that a high shot from Jared Waerea-Hargreaves on Paul Vaughan? Kiwi on Aussie.

Vaughan slipped a touch in his apporoach, so nothing more than a penalty as it was high, and decent possession for the Wolves.

Hull KR with the first set and carries from each of their props, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Sauaso Sue.

Those two fellas take some stopping but the Wolves defenders do just that.

  15. 'Warrington will benefit from not being favourites'published at 15:02 British Summer Time 7 June

    Warrington 0-0 Hull KR

    James Gordon
Commentator on BBC Radio Merseyside Sport

I think Warrington will benefit from the fact that there's not a massive amount of expectation on them.

Last year, although Wigan were favourites, it was very much 'it's Sam Burgess' first year, are they going to turn into a force?'

It might well be Sam Burgess' last season at Warrington, who knows.

They are trying to treat it like any other game. The problem is any other game for Warrington hasn't actually been that good this season.

So, as expected, Warrington captain George Williams returns from an ankle injury and starts for the Wire today.

Despite Hull KR's dominance in Super League this season in comparison to injury-plagued Warrington's form, I'm not sure you can make the case that this is going to be a cakewalk for them.

I'm expecting an energetic, difficult game for both sides. With Williams and Marc Sneyd in their ranks, I think Warrington are going to be a tough nut to crack.

Hull KR overwhelm Catalans in semi final

Like with their form in the Super League, Hull KR have been ruthless and efficient in their path to Wembley.

There was a memorable derby success away to local rivals Hull FC and a strong-arm showing against Catalans in the semis as they chase only a second Challenge Cup.

Third round: York Knights (A, 44-2)

    Fourth round: Oldham (H, 40-0)

    Quarter-final: Hull FC (A, 32-16)
