Leicester's Kieran Brookes ruled out until January

Leicester Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill expects prop Kieran Brookes to be out of action until January with a foot injury.

Brookes, who joined from Newcastle Falcons in the summer, external, was hurt in the win over his former side on Saturday, external.

Cockerill told BBC Radio Leicester, external: "He has done some damage to his foot after someone fell and crushed it.

"We are waiting for specialist opinion but it is looking like he could be out for at least three or four months."
