Duncan Weir kicked all of Glasgow Warriors' points as they beat hosts Aironi and claimed a fourth successive RaboDirect Pro 12 victory.

Three penalties and a drop-goal from Weir gave the visitors a 12-6 advantage at the turnaround, Naas Olivier kicking two penalties for the hosts.

Weir added two more penalties in the second half to complete Glasgow's win.

Warriors' Johnnie Beattie was yellow-carded during the second half but Aironi were unable to take advantage.

The result moves Sean Lineen's side to within four points of league leaders Leinster.

South African Olivier kicked Aironi into a 6-3 lead with two penalties after Weir had opened for Glasgow early on.

Weir brought the scores level with his second penalty on the quarter-hour mark and his third penalty gave Lineen's men the lead.

A drop-goal from the fly-half ensured a six-point advantage at the break for Glasgow.

Beattie was sin-binned for coming over the top of a ruck soon after the re-start but Olivier missed the resulting kick and Aironi were unable to make their extra man count.

And Weir added two more penalties to make Glasgow's lead more comfortable.
