Jersey centre Dai Bishop will face no further punishment following his yellow card for striking a player in the defeat at fellow strugglers Doncaster.

Bishop was cited after being sin-binned in the opening minute of the bottom-of-the-table clash in November.

At a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel hearing on Wednesday night, the citing was dismissed.

It means Bishop is free to play in Jersey's final match of 2012 against Leeds Carnegie on Saturday.
