Tom Varndell: Wasps winger signs new contract

London Wasps winger Tom Varndell has signed an extended contract.
England international Varndell joined from Leicester Tigers in 2009, external and has scored nearly 50 tries in 89 appearances, 13 of them this season.
The 27-year-old told the club website: "I'm really excited to be here for the next few years.
"Things are looking up and we've got a fantastic squad of players here, who I believe can really achieve something together in the coming seasons."
Wasps are currently fourth in the Premiership and Varndell, who has four England caps, is confident that director of rugby Dai Young has assembled a side that can challenge for honours.
"You only have to look around you at some of the young talent we have coming through and some of the experience that Dai has organised around that, to get excited about what is to come," he said.
"I am loving my rugby this season and the type of rugby that we are playing at Wasps is fantastic when you're a winger."
Varndell agreed a two-year contract extension in September 2010, but the length of his new deal has not been disclosed by the club.
Young added: "Tom has played a big part in our improvement this season and his finishing is second to none.
"I am really pleased he's going to be a Wasps player for the foreseeable future."
