Jersey have banned full-back Barry Davies for two weeks following a brawl towards the end of their 13-10 win over Rotherham last Saturday.

The off-the-ball incident also led to teammate Dave Markham and Rotherham's Daniel Sanderson being sin-binned.

Davies' ban runs until 12 February and he misses the away game at Bedford.

He joined Jersey in September last year after three seasons with Ospreys and won a Welsh cap against Ireland in the 2006 Six Nations., external

"Club officials reviewed the relevant footage from the match at St Peter and decided there was a case to answer regarding alleged foul play," said a club statement.
