Argentina winger Horacio Agulla has signed a contract extension with Bath.

The 28-year-old, who has 42 international caps, arrived at the Rec from Premiership rivals Leicester Tigers last summer.

He made 22 appearances in all competitions during the 2012-13 campaign, scoring 12 tries.

"I'm happy to have extended my contract. I love playing for Bath and the environment is perfect for a player who wants to get better," he said.

Director of rugby Gary Gold added: "Ringo [Agulla] is a top class player and a great bloke to have in our squad.

"He helps the youngsters, he adds to the culture of the place and, most importantly, he delivers time and again on the field. We are very happy to have extended his deal."

The length of Agulla's new deal has not been disclosed.
