London Wasps: Will Taylor and James Cannon sign new deals

London Wasps forwards Will Taylor and James Cannon have signed new contracts.

Taylor, 22, played 21 times last season and has agreed his deal one week after fellow Wasps prop Tim Payne was forced to retire with a neck injury.

The 6ft 8ins Cannon, 24, who plays at lock, joined from Northampton in 2010 and has since made 32 appearances.

Director of rugby Dai Young said: "Will has done very well in a tough position over the past year and James is another player who is improving all the time."

He added on the club website: "We've got a strong group of young forwards here and we want to make sure that these players develop and progress together.

"Will and James both have big futures here."
