Cornish Pirates have signed Camborne's 21-year-old winger Alex Ducker.

He is the second player to move from a Cornish lower-league club to the Pirates after Penryn's Ben Trevaskis.

"Alex has trained with the squad during our two previous pre-seasons so we are pleased he now has an opportunity to be part of the squad for the whole season," said Pirates boss Ian Davies.

"It is going to be a massive step up from South West One but one that he is looking forward to meeting head on."
