Aholelei started in Tonga's Autumn International against Wales at the Millennium Stadium last November
London Welsh have announced the signing of Tonga prop forward Eddie Aholelei.
Aholelei, 32, scored a try on his international debut against Japan in 2013 and has gone on to win six caps for his country.
Auckland-born of Tongan heritage, Aholelei has made over 200 first-grade appearances for Manly Marlins and has also played for Melbourne Rebels.
He will link up at Premiership new boys London Welsh with Tonga team-mate, and fellow prop, Taione Vea.
"I watched him first hand against Wales in the autumn at the Millennium Stadium.
"He's got Super 15 experience, is a very big powerful man and is another excellent addition to our squad for next season," head coach Justin Burnell told the London Welsh website., external
