Worcester 27-23 Munster A: Betty's late try earns Warriors win
- Published
Worcester loose forward Sam Betty ran in two tries as the Warriors maintained their winning British & Irish Cup start with victory over Munster A at Sixways.
In a seesaw contest which saw the lead change hands after Worcester hooker Ben Sowrey's early try, Warriors trailed 23-20 going into the final minute.
But they turned down a kickable late penalty which would have earned a draw.
Instead, they went for a try - and were rewarded when Betty, who had scored in the first half, again touched down.

Tiff Eden added the extras, to add to his two earlier successful conversion.
Coupled with penalties either side of the break, that earned Eden a 12-point individual haul as Worcester backed up last weekend's opening B&I Cup win at Nottingham.
The Warriors are in B&I Cup action for a third successive weekend next Saturday when they make the short journey to Billesley Common for the local derby with Moseley, who they have already beaten once in Championship combat this season.
