Batiste was red carded against Hertford for throwing a punch

Guernsey Rugby have been docked five points and drop to the bottom of the National Three London South East table for fielding a suspended player.

Layton Batiste got a two-match ban for his red against Hertford on 11 October.

The club delayed imposing the ban until receiving the official report, which came after their win at Amersham & Chiltern in which prop Batiste played.

But with the RFU not allowing such delays, they were stripped of victory as Batiste was found ineligible.
