Jersey prop Myles Landick hopes he will continue to be in head coach Harvey Biljon's plans after returning from long-term injury.

The 25-year-old Jerseyman came on in the 24-9 loss at Carmarthen Quins in the British and Irish Cup, after 20 months out with a knee problem.

"Being out for so long, I'm pleased to be back," he told BBC Radio Jersey.

"I want to keep playing rugby at the highest level I can do and it's great that I'm getting the opportunity."

Landick's last appearance for Jersey was in April 2013.

The prop, who also works as the club's groundsman, has played just three games for the island since their promotion to the Championship in 2012, having suffered a knee ligament injury in March 2012.

Landick has been playing for the second-string Jersey Athletic side to build up his fitness.

"To get a run of games under my belt, whether it's for the first team or Athletic - even Athletic standard is still a decent standard to work your way back in from injury - that's served me well to get me here," Landick added.
