Samisoni Fisilau: Jersey sign Tonga scrum-half

Jersey have signed Tonga international scrum-half Samisoni Fisilau.
Fisilau, 27, comes in to replace former captain Nicky Griffiths, who left the club last month for family reasons.
He has most recently played for Bay of Plenty in New Zealand's ITM Cup and has earned 15 caps for his country, featuring against New Zealand and Japan at the 2011 World Cup.
"We've been looking to sign a scrum-half and have had Sami on the radar," said Jersey boss Harvey Biljon.
Jersey have not disclosed how long a contract Fisilau, who spent time at Super Rugby's Hurricanes franchise, has signed.
"I'm very pleased that his signing is confirmed and he's arrived on the Island and got his boots on," added Biljon, who himself played scrum-half for Wasps.
"He is a very talented player who still has international ambitions and is looking to develop his career in Europe.
"He's a powerful man to be wearing the number nine shirt and I think his style of play will complement our existing scrum-halves Joel Dudley and Ryan Glynn."
Fisilau is available for Jersey's Championship match at Doncaster on Saturday.
