Bristol scrum-half Luke Baldwin has agreed to join current Championship leaders Worcester Warriors at the end of the current season.

Former Saracens player Baldwin, 24, has made 20 appearances for Bristol this season, scoring two tries.

"I am incredibly excited about joining and beginning the next chapter of my career," he said.

"It is obvious there are some very successful times ahead and I cannot wait to be part of those."

Baldwin will join Bristol team-mate Andy Short at Sixways ahead of next season, after the winger announced his intention to re-sign Worcester in January.

Short was allowed to join Premiership team London Irish on loan, while Baldwin will not be allowed to play in any more games for Bristol this season.

Baldwin is the sixth signing Worcester have made for next season.
