Jersey head coach Harvey Biljon says the club's historic win over Worcester is a testament to the hard work his side have put in recently.

Jersey beat the Warriors 23-21 to end their 24-game winning run.

"It just shows how hard this group's been working. We've been talking about hard work and sacrifice for a long time, but the players are putting it in," Biljon told BBC Radio Jersey.

"I've got to credit to the whole squad for their preparation in the week."

Jersey remain eighth in the Championship, while their victory meant Worcester dropped to second place, three points behind new leaders Bristol.

"We set ourselves some targets, we weren't expecting to win them all, we were expecting to win a couple of battles and fair play, they got out there and did something special," Biljon added after the game.
