Cornish Pirates boss Ian Davies felt his side should have taken a bonus point from their win over Ealing.

Toby May, Rob Elloway and Kyle Moyle all scored tries for the Pirates as they beat the London-based side 30-15 to go sixth in the Championship.

Three penalties and three conversions from Laurence May proved the difference as Ealing also crossed three times.

"I think we could have got a bonus point, but there were passages where we were certainly second-best," he said.

"But to come away with a good win in the end was pleasing," Davies told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"Ultimately we're going to be disappointed with the way we conceded the tries and we didn't get our forward play as it has been in the last few weeks.

"But the half-backs put us in the right positions and when Laurence got a shot at goal he took it."
