Oliver Tomaszczyk: Prop leaves Jersey by mutual consent

Oliver Tomaszczyk made 10 appearances for Jersey in his three-and-a-half month stay

Oliver Tomaszczyk has left Championship side Jersey by mutual consent.

The 29-year-old ex-Newcastle prop joined the islanders in November on a deal that ran until the summer.

"Oli made a useful contribution during a period in which we were able to help him to return to fitness and show his ability as a prop," said Jersey boss Harvey Biljon.

"However he wishes to seek other opportunities and we've agreed that he'll leave Jersey."

Meanwhile lock Will Rowlands has temporarily returned to parent club Wasps while team-mates Joe Launchbury and Bradley Davies take part in the Six Nations.
