London Irish club captain George Skivington has signed a contract extension for next season.

Skivington, 33, has been sidelined for most of the season following a shoulder operation in November.

The former Leicester lock made 63 appearances for Irish and scored five tries in his four seasons at the club.

"This club has been a part of my life since my childhood when I played in the minis," Skivington said. "I'm always very proud to wear the badge."
