Eddie Jones' warning to under-performing England players will have the desired impact, according to lock George Kruis.
Jones says a handful of Grand Slam winners are in danger of missing the summer tour of Australia.
Saracens' Kruis, who played in every one of the Six Nations victories, said: "You do [pay attention] - it's clever from Eddie," Kruis told BBC 5 live.
He joked: "I check my phone every now and then to see if it's me."
The 26-year-old added: "It's fair from him. If we are international players we need to be playing like them.
"He made a big point that when we go back to our clubs we should be the best ones there, putting in the biggest shifts, and trying the hardest.
"He's the type of man that if you're not doing what you should be doing then he'll let you know pretty quickly."
A host of England internationals will be in action in the Champions Cup semi-finals this weekend, with Kruis' Saracens facing Wasps at the Madejski Stadium in Reading, before Leicester play Racing 92 at the City Ground in Nottingham on Sunday.

Eddie Jones joins Sonja McLaughlan and former All Blacks lock Ali Williams live in the studio to preview the weekend's Champions Cup semi-finals, this Thursday from 20:30 BST |
"Of course national stuff is always on your mind, but there's a definite focus this week that we need to do a task and that will be massively at the forefront of our minds," Kruis continued.
Saracens are in the semi-finals of the European Cup for the fourth successive season, and Kruis feels the experiences of recent years may give them the edge against a Wasps side unaccustomed to the latter stages of the tournament.
"You gain so much from experience, from playing these big games and figuring out how you win and you lose them," Kruis said.
"It doesn't give you the right to win it, it just maybe gives you a better chance."
