Cornish Pirates have signed Launceston back Fraser Honey as part of their Player Development Foundation.

The 19-year-old, who can play at fly-half or full-back, played 21 times for the Cornish All Blacks last season.

"Fraser is another local lad who is a welcomed addition to the PDF," said Pirates coach Gavin Cattle.

"The exposure to a professional environment will help him develop his game sense, where he can apply an already well-developed skill set."
