Cardiff Blues are taking to the road this season to play their British and Irish Cup games at each Premiership ground in the region.

The Arms Park will host the opener in the competition against London Scottish between October 14 and 16.

Pontypridd will then welcome Ulster A to Sardis Road in round four between December 16 and 18.

Merthyr's The Wern will then host the Premiership Select XV round five game against Jersey on January 13 and 15.

"We are naturally delighted to be able to stage our B&I Cup games at each of the Premiership clubs in our region," Blues chief executive Richard Holland said.

"It has been a goal of ours for some time to take games into the region and this gives us the perfect opportunity.

"There is now a great facility in place at The Wern in Merthyr and it is great that Pontypridd RFC have also accepted our invitation to host a game at Sardis Road, both on their new artificial surfaces."
